What is the Gospel doctrine?

The doctrine of the gospel is the foundation of life by which salvation, justification, and sanctification are established for man who has walked in sin.

Whoever therefore hears these words of mine and does them, I will compare him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. Matthew 7:24-25

The doctrine of the gospel is the way of salvation and eternal life. It is not merely the teaching of wisdom; it is wisdom itself through which man and woman find fellowship with God Himself.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The doctrine of the gospel is the principles by which the kingdom of God operates on earth. The doctrine of the gospel is the revelation of God to understand righteousness and to establish judgment and mercy on earth.

But let him that shall glory in this, let him glory in understanding and in knowing me, that I am the LORD, which sheweth mercy, and judgment, and righteousness, upon the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 9:24
